Google drive is a ubiquitous cloud solution that is used by millions around the globe, sometimes you may have some large data that you want from google drive to your cloud instance on AWS or other cloud providers.
This blog post will show you how to move large data from google drive to your Ubuntu instance. Let’s go.

Step 1:
get your file ready

Step 2:

Make the file available by allowing editor mode and copy the link provided.

Step 3 

ssh into your cloud using putty paste the below code

 wget --load-cookies /tmp/cookies.txt "https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&confirm=$(wget --quiet --save-cookies /tmp/cookies.txt --keep-session-cookies --no-check-certificate 'https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&id=YOURFILEID' -O- | sed -rn 's/.*confirm=([0-9A-Za-z_]+).*/\1\n/p')&id=YOURFILEID" -O YOURFILENAME && rm -rf /tmp/cookies.txt

step 4
replace your YOURFILEID with the id of your file, which is inside the sharable link you copied, it is the one between ../d/ and /view in your link
also, replace YOURFILENAME with the name of your file in google drive
hit enter to start downloading your file.
